Delete your Cirklo account

1In the app (right away)

• Open Cirklo and tap Profile in the bottom bar.
• At the bottom of the screen, under Account, tap Delete account.
• Read what happens, type DELETE and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted right away and you’re signed out of the app.

2Without the app

If you no longer have the app or can’t sign in, email hitalocunhadesousa@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Cirklo account, including:

• the registered phone number, with the country code;
• the name shown on the account.

Before deleting, we confirm the request really comes from the account owner (for example, with a code sent to the registered phone). Deletion is completed within 15 days and we’ll email you when it’s done.

3What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, phone number, date of birth and photo.
• Your entire location history, stops, check-ins and alerts.
• The places you created, which disappear from the circles.
• Your emergency contacts, PINs and preferences.
• Your membership in all circles: you disappear from their map.
• The connected device and the data stored in the app on your phone.

4What we keep

• Alert records (SOS, crash and duress), with the route during the alert, are kept for 10 years, separate from the account. They’re only accessed by court order or at the request of a competent authority. See the Privacy policy.
• Notifications that already reached other people’s phones stay on their devices, beyond our reach.

5Before you delete

• Subscription: deleting your account doesn’t cancel billing. If you pay for a plan, cancel it first in Google Play (Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions) or in the App Store (Settings > your name > Subscriptions).
• Circles you manage: if you’re the only admin, another adult in the circle becomes admin automatically. If only minors remain, the circle is deleted.
• A minor’s account: the parent or guardian can request deletion at the email above, including the phone number of the minor’s account.
